INOmax® (Nitric Oxide) for Inhalation
 INOmax® is nitric oxide for inhalation. INOmax is a selective pulmonary vasodilator, which, in conjunction with ventilatory support and other appropriate agents, is indicated for the treatment of term and late pre-term (>34 weeks) neonates with hypoxic respiratory failure associated with clinical or echocardiographic evidence of pulmonary hypertension, in order to improve oxygenation and reduce the need for extracorporeal membrane oxygenation.¹ Refer to full Product Monograph. In Canada, the INOmax Product Monograph states that health professional staff that administer nitric oxide therapy should have access to supplier-provided 24 hour/365 days per year technical support on the delivery and administration of inhaled nitric oxide. |
